Grown Friendly delivers fresh, healthy produce to your door each week, saving you a trip to the grocery store. You will order from our website
We are primarily a "box service." There are different "boxes" to choose from, each containing an assortment of vegetables and/or fruits that changes from week to week.
- The ""Veggie Box" contains 4 vegetable items.
- The "Fruit Box" contains 3 fruit items.
- The "Fruit and Veggie Box" contains 2 vegetable and 2 fruit items
- The "Value Box," when it is offered, provides an opportunity to benefit from special pricing on select items.
The Veggie, Fruit, and Fruit and Veggie boxes all are typically a good fit for one or two people. For more produce, simply order more than one box.
In addition, we carry fresh herbs, occasionally make special offers, and will be happy to respond to special requests whenever possible.
We normally post the offers for the week on Monday at 2:00 PM, and we will notify you via email that the latest offers are available. The deadline for orders every week is Wednesday at 9:00 PM. To order, click on "Store" in the menu to the right. The "store" is closed from Wednesday at 9 PM until Monday at 2 PM. If you'd like, you can establish a standing order (we recommend this option - let us know you are interested via email) or you can order each week.
Delivery day is Thursday. Depending on where you live, we will let you know approximately what time of day to expect us.
On Thursdays when you have an order coming, simply leave a cooler near your doorstep and we will place the order inside the cooler. On warm days, please leave an ice pack in the cooler to keep the food fresh. While we normally are able to deliver the promised fruit and vegetable selections, we may have to make last minute substitutions based on quality and availability.
