At Grown Friendly we believe that everyone should have access to healthful food that is produced in a sustainable manner.  We also believe that with success (doing well) comes a responsibility to support others in need (doing good).

We are currently doing what we can to support the efforts of a local Louisville organization:  Heritage House Ministries. 

Founded by two local folks, Mike and Jeanne Jones, this organization maintains a residence here in Louisville, Colorado that houses 11 girls - aged 12 through 18 - who for various reasons cannot live at home.  From their web site: "Heritage House is a non-profit organization which provides a safe haven for at-risk, teenage girls. We are committed to providing a nurturing and loving home, building self-esteem, and establishing life skills essential for a promising new future." You can learn more at their website.

Grown Friendly is currently soliciting donations that will be used to provide various types of produce to Heritage House.  The produce will be purchased at wholesale, 100% of all donations will be spent on produce, and Grown friendly will handle ordering and delivery free of charge.  Food is provided “courtesy of the customers and friends of Grown Friendly."  You do not need to be a Grown Friendly customer to participate – though of course we hope you are!
